I suggest you ...

Allow videos from Google Drive

It would be wonderful to allow videos uploaded to a Google Drive account to be used.

Yes, youtube is nice, but would be better if we could upload videos from g.drive, also be able to export the notes and screen shots into google docs. It would be easier to view the report on a large screen, the current interface is really small.

I can't use until it supports Google Drive videos because of permissions issues we can't post student videos on Youtube.
        Please help.

Yes, please guys can you do it? Because my students shared with me their link and I thought I could use video notes but it does not accept them. I still have the solution to load the videos on my youtube channel and then use video notes but it is going to take me a while since I have 50 videos :)

YES PLEASE! All of my videos that students are able to watch are from Drive.

Yes, please! While our students DO have access to You Tube, sometimes students and teachers alike are not comfortable with the video of their speech or their teaching moment being uploaded to You Tube (even though there's a privacy setting for that). We store these items in Google Drive, and it would be wonderful to be able to provide feedback and conversation via videonot.es in these situations!

This would be huge as I work in a school. Teachers would LOVE your app but youtube is blocked so they'd need to be able to use it with videos from Google drive.

        Yes. Yes. Yes.
This can be a great tool for collaborating in google drive on video creation.

Yes, I agree. YouTube is blocked in my school and my staff uses SnagIt which saves videos directly to drive.

Please do this. You have made a great tool but my students cannot access public video. If Videonot.es could just use video stored in Google drive the application would be perfect. If you do this upgrade could you let me know perhaps so I don't have to keep checking. Thanks.

Yes please x10. For students already using Google Drive as their storage medium it would seem to be a natural progression for videonot.es

Yes! Please! With sugar on top :)

I totally agree with this. I am a technology specialist for our district and I see so many possibilities for teachers who are wanting to flip their classrooms. But students don't have access to YouTube and Vimeo on the campuses, so they will be blocked from using this great resource. Please figure out how to add Google Drive videos for viewing in Videono.tes.

I agree; this feature is essential especially for student-created content. Videonot.es is a wonderful tool but is limited in use-cases since Google Drive videos are not allowed that I can tell. I have tried multiple different "Share" settings on the videos and am still unable to leave notes.

This is critical to use in education, where student videos cannot be published on public websites. The recent launch of Google Classroom, which includes the ability for students to turn in video assignments, makes this very high in demand!

Please add Google Drive functionality to this tool. Without being able to use Youtube this tool cannot be used by my students in school.

        Thanks.

I agree, I have to comment on a number of videos saved in Google Drive and I was suprised that they did not upload.

I use Google Drive videos extensively in my classroom, and my only use for this app is IF this functionality is added. I need to make comments on my student-created and uploaded videos!

Yes. As a teacher sites like YouTube and Vimeo are blocked by our firewall. This would make your software function at our school.
